Resources
In addition to helping people access food, Daily Bread Food Bank works to create a safe, supportive and respectful space to help overcome barriers that often come with living on a low income. At both our main office, and at several food banks across the city, advocates can assist you in learning about and accessing government entitlements. They can provide information, referrals and support related to:- OntarioWorks (OW)/Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
- Other income supports & government entitlement (eg. Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Child Tax Benefits)
- Housing issues & fighting an eviction
- Rent & utility (heat, hydro or gas) arrears
- Legal issues
- Crisis counseling and support
- Health & well being
- Employment
- Education & training
- Accessing clothing & glasses
- Free or low-cost furniture & beds
- Other services as needed

Mon. 11:00am to 3:00pm
Tues. 11:00am to 3:00pm
Wed. 11:00pm to 4:00pm
Thurs. 11:00am to 3:00pm
Fri. 11:00am to 3:00pm
